Hi there! My name is Jo! I'm a mum to two beautiful girls, wife, lover of travel and the face behind Life In Focus Photography.
I've had a lot of new followers lately, so I thought I'd give you a run down of the types of sessions I do.
Session Types
I have a variety of session types including; Maternity, Newborn, Milestone, Cake Smash and Families. One day, when my kids are older, I hope to add Birth Photography to that list!
Maternity
Pregnancy... What an amazing, emotional and rewarding journey it can be!
Pregnancy sessions are usually best between 30 - 36 weeks, so you're still comfortable to move around, although I'm happy to do them right up to your due date. I know, sometimes we don't think of these things until the last minute!
These can be in my home studio in Mailors Flat or at a location of your choice within 25km of Warrnambool.
I'm currently building a client wardrobe of Maternity Gowns. These are available for you to use during your session.
*I'm happy to travel further than 25kms, however a travel fee will apply.
Newborn
Newborn Sessions are completed in my home studio in Mailors Flat. These are ideally completed when your baby is around 10-14 days old. However, I often have older babies in my studio up to 12 weeks old, so it's never too late!
I have a variety of props, wraps and accessories to choose from. You can give me an idea of colours you like and let me create something special for you.
Newborn sessions are best booked once you enter your second trimester. I only take a limited number of Newborn sessions each month, to allow for movement in case a baby arrives early.
Milestone
Milestone Sessions are usually completed as 6 or 12 month old sessions in my studio and are specifically for little ones who I photographed as a Newborn. It's a great excuse to get your child in for some updated photos in their first year of life. These are for one child only. If you were also wanting to have the family included, then a family session would be more suited to your needs.
Cake Smash & Splash
It's time to celebrate your little ones First Birthday! Cake Smashes are a great way to have some birthday fun. These sessions are best done approx. 11 - 12 months of age and take place in my home studio in Mailors Flat.
This also includes a bath at the end of the session to clean up and also a great opportunity for more cute photos! There are a variety of backgrounds to choose from.
Family
Family sessions are for immediate family only (Extended family sessions are available at an additional charge). They are designed to capture your whole family taking both a posed and casual approach to the session. These can take place at a location of your choice within 25kms of Warrnambool. On your property, the beach, the gardens, or let me pick a location for you.

CHRISTMAS!
Each year I run a week of Christmas Sessions. These are a lot of fun and a great way to get into the Christmas spirit. It's also a great way to be prepared with photo gifts for the family!
These are suitable for kids or the whole family.
